Heather Grace is joining the staff at North Oconee High School for school year 2019-2020 and is excited to be here!
She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Special Education, as well as completing course work for certification in Educational Leadership. She also has an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Ms. Grace started teaching in 1992 at Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, GA, and has also taught at Apalachee High School in Barrow County and most recently Walnut Grove High School in Walton County. She has taught many different levels of special education, including self-contained classrooms, resource as well as co-teaching in the general education setting. This year she will be co-teaching Geometry and Economics.
Ms. Grace will also be coaching track and field this year, bringing over 20 years of coaching experience in both track and field, and cross country.
Ms. Grace has two daughters she is very proud of...Morgan, who graduated from Berry College in May and is working in the mortgage business in Athens, and Reagan, who is a junior at the University of Alabama.
