Heather Grace
Heather Grace joined the staff at North Oconee High School for school year 2019-2020 and loves being here!
She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Special Education, as well as completing course work for certification in Educational Leadership. She also has an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Ms. Grace started teaching in 1992 at Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, GA, and has also taught at Apalachee High School in Barrow County and Walnut Grove High School in Walton County. She has taught many different levels of special education, including self-contained classrooms, resource as well as co-teaching in the general education setting. This year she will be co-teaching in the science department.
Ms. Grace will also be coaching this year, as the head girls Cross Country and Assistant Track and Field coach, bringing over 25 years of coaching experience in both track and field, and cross country.
Ms. Grace has two daughters she is very proud of...Morgan, who graduated from Berry College in 2019 and Reagan, who graduated from the University of Alabama in 2021. Both are working in the mortgage business in Athens.
