Hello! I am delighted and honored to be part of the inaugural staff at Dove Creek Middle. While completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, I student taught here in Oconee County and absolutely loved it. After graduating, I returned to Malcom Bridge Middle as a full time staff member while also completing my master's degree from UGA, respectively.

At MBMS, I taught a variety of subjects including public speaking, career management, and, of course, language arts. I'm passionate about helping students become effective communicators through reading, writing, and speaking. Teaching is all I ever wanted to do since the age of five, and it's my role to foster a positive, supportive, and challenging learning environment that allows all students to unlock new possibilities and make new discoveries. Outside of school, you may find me sipping coffee, cheering on the dawgs at a football game, or enjoying nature with friends and family.
