Coach Sparks has been at North Oconee High School since 2020. Prior to North Oconee, Coach Sparks taught at Winder-Barrow High School from 2017-2020, and Helena High School (Helena, AL) from 2014-2017. Coach Sparks graduated from the University of Georgia with a dual degree in Mathematics Education and Mathematics in 2014.

Coach Sparks also serves as the head boys Cross Country coach and Assistant Track and Field Coach.
