Hello! My name is Laura Seward. This is my second year as a kindergarten parapro at HSES. I truly love working with kindergarteners and being a part of their amazing growth throughout the year. My best qualification for the job is being a parent to two teenagers and volunteering for many years at their schools. I majored in Anthropology and minored in Art at Wake Forest University. I took a year to substitute teach before I went on to earn an M.A.T. in Museum Education from the George Washington University. I have worked in education at several museums, including the Smithsonian. I love bringing creativity to learning. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, and travelling. I also volunteer as a Girl Scout leader and with my church youth group.
