Claire Miller

Claire Miller rejoins the Titan family in Fall 2021 after spending three years working full time on her PhD in Mathematics Education at the University of Georgia. While working on her PhD, Mrs. Miller taught STAT 2000 (Introductory Statistics) at the Unversity of Georgia while working on a National Science Foundation-funded research grant investigating how students use collective argumentation to learn mathematics, science, and coding.

Mrs. Miller is from Marietta, GA and attended the University of Georgia, graduating in 2008 with a MSEd in Mathematics Education. She earned her Master's degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia in 2016 and is currently pursuing her PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia.

Mrs. Miller's teaching career began in 2008, where she taught for two years at Glynn Academy in south Georgia. She first joined the Titan family in 2010, where she spent eight years teaching in the Mathematics Department. She discovered her passion for statistics when she began teaching AP Statistics in 2014 and is excited to pick up where she left off!

Mrs. Miller married her husband, Dr. Kevin Moore, in May 2020. She enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with their fur babies, and cheering on the Dawgs!
