Amy Carter

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's in Child and Family Development then earned my Elementary and Middle Grades Teaching Certification in Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies at Brenau University. Later, I achieved my Masters in Science Education from Walden University and most recently added on my gifted endorsement.

My family moved to Oconee County from Atlanta where I taught at Warren T. Jackson Elementary. Before making the move to Oconee, I had 16 years of educational experience including teaching 2nd and 5th grades and as a MTSS/504/Data Specialist. I am excited to combine my love of math and ability to encourage students in the classroom as the Math 180 teacher at Oconee Middle!
