Alex Holmes
I am a graduate of Clarke Central High School. I received my B.S. in Kinesiology from Emmanuel College (2003), my M.Ed. in Physical Education from North Georgia College and State University (2005), and my Ed.S. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University (2009). I am certified in physical education, special education, and educational leadership.
I am in my second year at OCHS and my 18th year as a teacher. The first twelve years of my teaching career, I taught in Barrow County at Apalachee High School. Throughout my time at Apalachee, I coached softball, baseball, track, cross country, boys soccer, girls basketball, and volleyball. I taught in the physical education department. After leaving Apalachee, I spent four years in Clarke County at Clarke Central High School. Throughout my time at Clarke Central, I taught in the physical education department. I also coached cross country, softball, and boys soccer. Additionally, I served as an assistant athletic director in the athletic department.
I am married to my wife, Jennifer. We have three boys; Tucker, Cooper, and Parker. We live in Statham. I teach in the special education department. I am also an assistant coach for the softball program. I am happy to be an Oconee County Warrior. Go Warriors!
