I grew up in Locust Grove, Georgia, and I am a graduate of Henry County High School in McDonough, Georgia.  I received my B.A. in Business Administration from Piedmont College and my MBA from Walden University.  In 2007, I left the business world to pursue my career in Education. 

I have 10+ years experience teaching.  My experience has been Middle School Math in Henry County and 1st grade in Clarke County.  I was also an Instructional Coach for Special Education for three elementary schools in Henry County, as well as the Middle School Special Education Co-Chair for a few years.  I am certified in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and Math (4-8).

I moved to Oconee County in 2019, and I am so happy to be a part of such an amazing community!  I have a son, Wes, and a black lab, Cash.  In my free time, I enjoy crafting and spending time with friends and family.
