Mrs. Ashley Callahan

Mrs. Callahan became a North Oconee Titan in 2022, bringing 15 years of high school teaching experience. She has taught chemistry, biology, oceanography, and environmental science at all levels, from collab to advanced placement. Prior to becoming a teacher, Mrs. Callahan was a laboratory coordinator and researcher at the University of Georgia in the field of bioinformatics. She also worked in several other research labs in the fields of molecular biology, immunology, and botany here in Georgia and at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama City, Panama. 

Mrs. Callahan is a double dawg, having a Bachelor of Science and a Master's in Education from the University of Georgia. She lives nearby with her husband, two sons, and miniature schnauzer. She loves reading, traveling, nature, science, deep-sea fishing, and outdoor recreation.
