My name is Brittney Herron and I am thrilled to be a part of the Oconee County Schools community! Prior to teaching, I attended the University of Georgia, receiving my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education in 2010. Since then I have taught in Clarke, Barrow, and now Oconee Counties. I began my career as a Pre-K teacher, and have also taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, EIP and ESOL. I have a passion for early literacy and love all of the joys and challenges that come with teaching. I went back to the University of Georgia for my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2016. 

My husband, twin girls, and I love baking and traveling. We have a dog named Pearl, and we can usually be found exploring, watching movies, and spending time with our families!
