Mr. Brad Sikes

Hello! My name is Brad Sikes and I am proud to serve as part of the counseling team at Malcom Bridge Middle School. I began my educational career in 1996 teaching middle school science and math. My additional experiences include elementary teaching, school counseling (elementary and middle), and administration. I am an alumni of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and the University of Georgia. I have a bachelor's degree in health and physical education, a master's degree in middle school science, and a specialist degree in school counseling. I am committed to helping students do whatever it takes to succeed by supporting their academic, social, and emotional needs. I collaborate with students, families, teachers, and members of the community to promote positive growth and leadership. I am committed to a safe, positive, and respectful learning community. My family has lived in Oconee County since 2011. My wife, Elizabeth, teaches fifth grade at Colham Ferry Elementary and we have two daughters.

The MBMS counseling team coordinates to deliver individual, small group, and classroom guidance. Additionally, we co-sponsor the MBMS Student Council. This organization promotes leadership through a variety of school and community activities, such as Red Ribbon Week, Secret Santa, and the annual Can-a-Thon for ACTS Foodbank. Please contact me if you have questions. Go Bolts!
