Ms. Georgei Kennedy

Ms. Georgei Kennedy is one of the two Agriculture Education Teachers and FFA Advisors at Oconee County High School.  Prior to joining the CTAE department at OCHS, she graduated from the University of Georgia in the spring of 2023 with an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Education with minors in Entomology, Horticulture, and Elementary Agricultural Education. Ms. Kennedy completed her undergraduate practicum placement at Oconee County High School in the fall of 2022, and began her career as an Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Advisor in the fall of 2023. 

Previously, she served as a National #TeachAg Ambassador for the National Association of Agricultural Educators for 2022-2023 and has exhibited livestock for many years at the local, state,and national level. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Kennedy enjoys spending time with her pets - a cat and a rabbit, is an avid reader, and loves to go hiking across the many state parks we have in Georgia. You may often see her pet rabbit in her classroom being used as an agricultural animal ambassador.
