8th Grade ELA Teacher

Hello!

My name is Rachael Buffa and I am beyond excited about beginning my teaching career at Oconee County Middle School. I have a passion for teaching middle school students and am looking forward to helping them learn and grow.

I am a proud Oconee native and graduated from Oconee County High School. After graduating, I attended The University of Georgia where I recently acquired my Bachelors Degree in Education. Following graduation, I began working as a substitute teacher in Oconee County schools. I quickly came to the realization that this was exactly where I wanted to teach. I am thrilled to be surrounded by the most amazing coworkers, students, and families. There is truly no other place I would rather be!

Aside from teaching, I enjoy reading, coaching, and spending time with friends and family. I am beyond excited about beginning my first year of teaching and look forward to a wonderful school year! GO BRAVES!
