Kristyne Carmichael found her love for education when she was just 10 years old. Her 5th grade teachers changed her views on school, and since then she knew becoming a teacher was one of her personal goals. Kristyne attended The University of Georgia and received her Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Education with an emphasis on English and Mathematics in 2010. In December of 2012, she started her career at Webb Bridge Middle School, in Alpharetta, GA. In 2013, Kristyne became gifted certified. Kristyne continued to thrive at WBMS for the next 10.5 years, teaching the accelerated students in 6th grade, 7th grade Advanced classes, and 8th grade Advanced classes. For five years, she also helped create the yearbook with her students for the school. In the summer of 2023, Kristyne started her Master's Program at the University of Georgia. She is so excited about starting her journey as an OCHS teacher this year. Go Warriors!
