I have been a fan of the Oconee County School System since my oldest child began attending CFES in 2000. I have worked for NOHS and OCHS in a technology support role and became the bookkeeper for OCHS in 2016.

I have seen so many cases where our teachers, counselors and coaches have gone above and beyond for our students. I have seen parent volunteers serve countless hours. I have seen administrators calmly address an array of challenges. I have seen this community step up and meet needs in big and small ways. It is such a blessing to live and work in this community. 

It is particularly impressive to see how our teachers and students embrace and celebrate our students with special needs. When our students return from competing at Special Olympics, the hall is filled with students and teachers cheering them on and celebrating them. Our students also volunteer daily to help with Adaptive PE.  

I am honored that I get to support the teachers, administrators and staff (and students) who invest in the students at OCHS. :)
