I was born in southern Minnesota and moved to Georgia in 1987. I am a graduate of The University of Georgia (1995). Upon graduation, I moved to Cobb County to begin my teaching career, where I taught 8th grade math and was an assistant wresting coach for 7 years. In 2003, I started working at Oconee County Middle School, where I had previously done my student teaching. I have taught math in 8th, 7th, and currently in 6th grade and have coached multiple sports throughout the years as well.
