Eric Hamilton

Eric Hamilton has been an assistant principal at North Oconee High School since 2013.  Prior to coming to North Oconee, he worked with College Board as the Director of Curriculum & Content Development for Pre-AP Mathematics.  He has also been an assistant principal at Morgan County High School and North Augusta High School, located in North Augusta, South Carolina.

Before entering into administration, Mr. Hamilton taught mathematics in Columbia County, Georgia at both Lakeside High School and Greenbrier High School as a department head. He served on district and state math curriculum committees, including the Georgia K-12 Math Advisory Council. In addition, he participated on the state team of teachers who developed End-of-Course exams and the Georgia Performance Standards.  While teaching AP Statistics, he spent eight summers as a reader for the College Board, grading AP Statistics exams.

Mr. Hamilton is a proud graduate of Clemson University, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education & Mathematics.  He also has graduate degrees from Augusta State University. He received a Master of Education Degree in Administration & Supervision and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership.
