Kandice Ivarie

Kandice Ivarie is the Assistant Principal of Rocky Branch Elementary.  

Mrs. Ivarie began her teaching career in 2004. As a classroom teacher, Mrs. Ivarie has had experience working with students K-5.  Mrs. Ivarie joined the Oconee County School System as the Assistant Principal of Rocky Branch Elementary in 2018.  

Mrs. Ivarie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University.  She holds an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Georgia College and State University.  Prior to coming to Oconee County Schools, Mrs. Ivarie served as a gifted coordinator, a curriculum support teacher, and an instructional curriculum coach.  

Mrs. Ivarie’s philosophy as an Assistant Principal is to always put students first. The school's motto of "Recognizing the Brilliance in Every Student" is one that Mrs. Ivarie truly believes in.  

Mrs. Ivarie and her husband Josh are residents of Oconee County and have a daughter, Siena.  She and her family are thrilled to be part of the Oconee County community.
