I started my teaching career in 1998 in Pennsylvania as a Learning Support Teacher. After some further education, I began teaching Middle School Language Arts in 2012. I have taught ELA in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Pennsylvania, Clarke County Schools and here in Oconee.  Teaching is all that I have ever wanted to do and I am excited to be at Malcom Bridge Middle School and a part of Oconee County Schools.

I live in Watkinsville with my husband Tim, and my children Evan and Mckenna. We also have two large dogs named Maizie Mae and Jax. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and taking long walks with my furbabies.
