Hello! My name is LindsayAnn Hammarlund. 

My husband, Eric, and I have three kiddos. We love to go on adventures together, hike, snorkel and we play outside all the time! We also have a pup, Lola, who we love so much! 

I have been teaching since fall of 2009. After teaching six years in Clarke County and earning my Maters degree in Gifted and Creative Education at The University of Georgia(GO DAWGS!) we moved to Statham Georgia. I taught two years in Barrow County and was home for two years with our kiddos. I returned to the classroom when our girls started Kindergarten. I am so excited to be apart of the Dragon Family! 

In my classroom, I pride myself in creating a close family environment buzzing with excitement for learning, and my students are encouraged to explore inside and outside of the school walls!  Creativity and hands-on investigation are the norm when it comes to our learning and growing! In our classroom, we will use inquiry based learning strategies, like student interest projects, choice boards, task menus, and effectively use digital tools to showcase what we have learned!
