Rachel Whiten

My name is Rachel Whiten and I am excited to be working with your students this year. This is my 7th year in school counseling and 6th year as a middle school counselor. I graduated with both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from UGA, obtaining a Bachelor's in Psychology and Human Development and later a Master's in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in School Counseling. After graduating with my School Counseling degree, I became a school counselor at Hart County Middle School from 2018-2022. During this time, I graduated with my Education Specialist in Professional Counseling in 2020. I transitioned into Elementary School Counseling briefly in 2022 and worked at West Jackson Elementary School. In 2021, I also became a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and I am currently pending licensure to become fully licensed with my LPC at the beginning of this school year. Currently, I am both a School Counselor as well as a LAPC therapist.

I am excited to provide a comprehensive, data-driven counseling program that helps all students be successful academically as well as personally and professionally. Go Bolts!
