OCS achieves system-high graduation rate of 98.3%
Oconee County Schools’ four-year graduation rate for 2021 is 98.3%, as announced by the Georgia Department of Education. OCS has the highest graduation rate in the state for systems having 300 or more graduates, as well as the #4 rate in the state.
“To the Class of 2021, their parents, K-12 teachers, and our support staff and leaders – congratulations on the achievement of the highest graduation rate in OCS history at 98.3 percent,” said Superintendent Jason L. Branch. “Our graduation rate is a reflection of tremendous dedication, perseverance, and hard work that has taken place throughout our entire school community. In the face of a worldwide pandemic, we remained committed to excellence and our graduates were well-prepared to excel in post-secondary opportunities. It is truly an honor to live and lead in Oconee County.”
