Parents:
Canvas is the learning management system used by OCS. This learning management system supports teaching and learning by connecting digital tools in one place.
Parent/guardian accounts for Canvas have been created so that you are an observer of your students’ Canvas courses. As an observer, you will have access to his/her courses. Parent/guardian accounts were created using the personal email listed in PowerSchool.
Here are the instructions to set up and log in to your Canvas Parent Account:

Once you have completed your login process, you also can download the Canvas Parent App to follow your child’s academic progress. Canvas Parent enhances the potential for parents to engage in their child(ren)’s education. Parents can review upcoming or past assignments, check grades, and receive alerts for student activity.
