The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a state funded instructional program. Its purpose is to serve those students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level. This goal is accomplished by identifying those students who have not performed well on state assessments such as the Georgia Milestones Assessment System or G-KIDS and then providing them with additional instructional resources that should enable them to obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade level performance in the shortest possible time. EIP services are available to eligible students in grades K-5 at all Oconee County Elementary Schools. Eligibility is determined by guidelines set by the Georgia State Board of Education with the Office of Education Accountability.
